Saying he is sorry to hear his wife is sick, explaining that owing to the grave financial difficulties in Livorno it would be better to postpone a performance of Mascagni's Mass to a more favorable time, asking that the Mass will be performed in Treviso on 31 May, conducted by the composer, mentioning his Gavotta for piano dedicated to Mascagni, etc.
